A great place to show your kids or grandkids a bit about history in Prairie Grove. Great museum with lots of info. They have events and tours throughout the year. Nice place for a picnic also

Great historic place to bring the kids. The festivals held here are always fun. Recreations in Dec are awesome.
This is one of my favorite little parks. There's a huge field with multiple historic markers as well as a playground and several old buildings. I think they put on shows and also allow the spaces to be rented out as well. We love to walk around in the small forest separating the playground and the battlefield.
The park is kept clean and tidy. It's an interesting piece of Arkansas and Civil War history. It has a lovely walking trail to enjoy as well as a nice playground area for children.
